Monologue

April 20 th, 2019. I am reading the story An Amazing Woman in my class 3B. I remember the day of June 26, 2016. At this moment, I have been looking for 2 months in Los Angeles City College, I can’t pay my rent where I live with 13 years old daughter because the College pays me on the 30th of July. I was supposed to pay the rent on June 10th. I did not have another job at this moment. I was working as a volunteer at the Middle School where my daughter student at the moment, I did but I did not have a salary. I would go to my daughter’s school until 5:00 p.m. because she was is in the program after school.

Kidnapping and My Refuge in Costa Rica

 

October 30, 2018. It was 1:00 p.m. in the class with Mr Bryan and  saw the movie AKKELAH, remember what happened in my country. In one moment of the movie, when two men’s in a car approach Akkelah and brother, I thought were going to kidnap them, because in my country to teach and study, it can cost us our lives.

Remember as the Dr Larabee represent the constancy to achieve a dream; it represents in the film what it coast to get our students to really study and more important; the liberty in this country for study and teach.
